This is a 32" LCD TV. This has a 1366x768 panel, similar to most "high-def" low-end panels. Usually priced around £300.
Inputs (Video + Combined Audio):
1 RF (Analogue)
1 RF (Digital) (more on this later)
2 HDMI (everything up to and including 1080p)
2 scarts
1 composite
1 D-SUB 15-pin "VGA" Input
1 S-Video
1 Component
Inputs (Audio)
2 phono inputs, labelled HDMI 1 & 2
1 PC Audio Input (3.5" stereo jack)
Outputs (Audio)
It's own speakers
1 analogue phono audio out (this runs from the TV's amp, and outputs whatever audio in on the selected input (including HDMI)
Pros:
1) It appears TECO make the manels for more upmarket brands, so you get the same panel as you'd get in a more expensive TV - though not necessarily the same control software
2) It outputs stereo audio from whatever you're watching - ideal for running into a hi-fi aux input for better sound than it's own speakers - this is also through the TV's amp so the tv remote can control the volume of the hi-fi.
3) Digital TV guide system works well, though a little sluggish to respond to buttons (as most are).
4) It's cheap
Cons:
1) Buttons on the side are irritatingly far from the labels on the front, meaning if you're above or below them you have to count down from the top to be sure of pressing the right one.
2) You can't name the inputs so have to remember which device is plugged into which input.
3) The analogue and digital tuners are physically different plugs, which means you end up either splitting the arial, or simply plugging into the digital and ignoring the analogue (irritating if you're in a low-digital-signal area)
4) No unamped audio output which means you sacrifice some fidelity
5) You can't switch off the TV speakers, meaning to avoid their less-than-stellar interference you end up running low amp on the tv and high gain on the hi-fi - potentially sacrificing quality via the analogue cable.
Conclusion:
And excellent TV for the price. Minor design issues are mildly irritating, but overall well recommended - I can't seen a noticeable difference between this and a panasonic 32" costing £500. I would happily buy another.
